Best Dressed At The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

A who’s who of fabulous fashion folks gathered in New York last night for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, where Billy Reid took home the top prize, and a slew of starlets competed for the title of best dressed. And guess what, gals? You’re the judges!

Carey Mulligan‘s style may be many things, but boring certainly isn’t one of them. She upped the sophistication factor in a sequined Chanel couture dress with a jeweled jacket on top.

Prabal Gurung was a runner-up at the awards ceremony, but he scored big when he dressed Leighton Meester. Her custom-made, Swarovski-encrusted black and white number was finished off with Roger Vivier booties.

I wouldn’t even say Diane Von Furstenberg, CFDA president, “looks good for her age.” Sister just looks good, period!

Christina Ricci has an amazing ability to look sweet, sexy, innocent, and a little bit naughty all at the same time, which is exactly the look she achieved in this doll-like dress by Peter Som.

It doesn’t hurt that she’s an impossibly leggy model, but Chanel Iman nails it in this sexy white dress with a tastefully-placed cutout. Bonus points for fabulous accessories!

Kim Kardashian showed her more demure side in a flowing baby blue gown with a jeweled neckline by Zac Posen. A sleek bun is all this look needs to feel complete.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but somehow the combination of Blake Lively and Chanel created a total miss for me. On the heels of last week’s Don’t moment, I’m wondering if it’s finally time for her to hire a stylist–or at least choose a black bra so it won’t show through so obviously!
