New York Fashion Week Review Day 5 | iMisc

05Oct10

I loved Tracy Reese’s fun and flirty sportswear for spring.  The ice blue silk blouse and striped dress with exaggerated arm openings were sophisticated, modern, and versatile (need that blue blouse for spring!).  Chic, well-fitting trousers with military-inspired front patch pockets in a variety of neutral colors were the building block for the collection, and may be the starting point for your spring wardrobe as well.  Super-feminine dresses in clean white or muted prints ranged from cool and casual daywear to avant-garde and body-conscious pieces, best reserved for evenings out.  Floppy hats, fun round sunglasses and loose, flowing hair captured the bohemian vibe of the collection.
