Sienna and Savannah Mix Colors with Tweny8Twelve

Savannah and Sienna Miller mixed abstract art and their fashion sense in the creation of Twenty8Twelve, their new line for Spring 2010. Fashion royalty joined the sisters at Royalton Hotel Penthouse in New York to celebrate this bold-colored line.

“We were inspired by Willem de Koonig and Jackson Pollock and some of those crazy artists,” Sienna said. “So with our prints, we really went out there.”

“We were really inspired by the heat of the African youth in the fifties. Belize Betilde is a very famous photographer who captured this in photographs,” she said. “It’s about multi cultural boundaries of the fifties when the dance hall divines was sort of melted.”

Savannah, the fashion professional of the duo, studied at The Central St. Martin’s fashion college, where designers such as Stella McCartney, John Galliano, and Christopher Kane also trained. She got her real life experience working with Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson.
