Best Dressed At The Metropolitan Opera Gala: Vote Now!: Slaves to Fashion: Fashion: glamour.com
As if opening night of Armida at the Metropolitan Opera wasn’t a chic enough event, last night’s gala here in New York was sponsored by Yves Saint Laurent and attended by some of my favorite red carpet ladies. Check them out–and vote for your favorite!–after the jump
This, my dear friends, is how you take someone’s breath away. Camilla Bellehas always been one of my favorites on the red carpet (remember this stunning Emporio Armani number? Or her major McQueen moment?), but I think this is officially my favorite look of hers, ever. Her simple hairdo, perfect makeup, and understated chic accessories all just draw my attention towards that gorgeous ruffled YSL gown. In love.
I’ve also written a love letter to Ginnifer Goodwin’s recently, and I have to applaud her originality at last night’s gala–and try to forget about that bad haircut! The YSL bustier and tailored pants are unexpectedly sexy, and the purple shoes are the perfect unboring touch.
